Dr. Kristopher Wiebe MD, Medical Director, Injector
A graduate of University of BC with honors, class of 2000, Dr. Kris Wiebe has a distinguished career in Emergency Medicine where he holds the credentials of FCFP(EM). Kris has had a life long interest in aesthetic medicine and founded Refresh Aesthetics which has quickly become one the Fraser Valley’s premier medical aesthetics destinations. Dr. Wiebe’s pursuit of aesthetics excellence was enhanced by extensive training in Los Angeles and Toronto, where he learned from top physicians in plastic surgery procedures and treatments.
Dr Wiebe was born and raised in Chilliwack, BC. He attended University full-time from 1991-2002 studying basic sciences at UFV, followed by pharmaceutical science at UBC, prior to University of BC Medical School admission. Throughout his education, Dr. Wiebe maintained placement on the Dean’s honour list, and received his MD from the University of British Columbia in 2000. Postgraduate Family and Emergency Medicine residency studies were completed at Queen’s University in Toronto.
Dr. Wiebe is certified in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and in 2012 was granted the additional distinction of Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Dr. Wiebe has been practicing Emergency Medicine since 2002, and has made Chilliwack, BC his professional practice locale since 2003.
In 2015, Dr. Wiebe shifted his focus to cosmetic medicine and began clinical training in cosmetic injections under local expert physicians. His interest in cosmetic medicine took him to Los Angeles in 2017 for further injection training where achieved certification by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Following this world class training, Dr Wiebe became certified by the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine.
Since opening is own medical aesthetics practice, Dr. Wiebe has thoroughly enjoyed the gratifying process of enhancing people’s natural beauty through the use of injections of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers. He is extremely excited to have partnered with Jolene Duncan who has an outstanding reputation for skillful and artistic injections, and together they have created Refresh Skin and Laser, the Fraser Valley premier destination for medical aesthetics.
Dr. Wiebe is more than a “Dr”. He is a small town guy who believes in small town values and imparts those beliefs on his family and children. You are just as likely to see him in a FOX t-shirt than you are business attire. He is easy to talk to, so easy that he often runs late because he is talking and getting to know his patients. Why? He is truly interested in people’s stories. It helps guide the direction of his treatment. You are not rushed in his presence. He has a nice laugh and eyes that truly smile at you.
Dr. Wiebe loves to read; novels, medical studies, anything interesting. He loves to share these interesting facts with other people as well which shows his passion for learning and always advancing his skill and knowledge, his craft.
Dr. Wiebe excels at explaining what he is doing, but also why so you feel included in the treatment. He believes the patient is part of the team and takes care and attention to detail and thought.

Jolene Duncan, RN, Head Nurse, Injector, Laser Technician
Jolene is a registered nurse with 20 years experience in nursing, with over 13 years in Cosmetic Medicine. Jolene has injected over 10,000 patients and trained over 1000 doctors in a variety of injection techniques. She specializes in offering patients advanced facial rejuvenation using Botox, Dermal Filler and PRP to create a youthful appearance yet always natural looking and pleasing to the eye.
Jolene is an expert at patient specific consultations, always focusing on your individual reasons for seeking treatment. You will be provided 2-3 treatment options based on your needs and a long-term treatment plan to best achieve those results. Jolene is firm on educating people about the treatment experience and ensures you feel safe, comfortable and informed by all of our practitioners. You will feel you are in the right place at the right time.
